How DanpheAbroad protects your data
This policy explains what we collect, how it is used, and how student and dependent documents stay secure.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information consultancies, students, dependents, sub-agents, and university partners provide directly - including profile details, academic records, and visa documents (passports, national IDs, birth and marriage certificates, resumes, and financial records) that are required to process an application.
2. How we use information
Data is used solely to operate the platform: managing leads, applications, documents, communications, payments, and reporting for the consultancy tenant that owns the record. We do not sell personal data.
3. Document security
Student and dependent documents are never public. Every file is stored in private object storage and served only through signed, short-lived URLs. Access is role-based and every high-risk action is recorded in an audit log.
4. Data retention & erasure
Tenants control retention according to their own policies. Where applicable law grants a right to erasure or a subject-access request, tenants can action these requests through the platform's GDPR tooling.
5. Third parties
We use vetted infrastructure providers for hosting, storage, email/SMS delivery, and payments. Providers only receive the minimum data required to perform their function and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact your consultancy administrator or reach out to us directly to exercise these rights.
